EVENT INFORMATION

From March 18-20, 2016 over 4,000 runners will hit the roads of Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach enjoying scenic views during their Marathon Madness Weekend experience! The Marathon Madness Weekend will benefi t the Landfall Foundation and the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation while driving millions of dollars of positive economic impact to the Cape Fear Region. The premiere event, the Quintiles Wrightsville Beach Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier and USATF sanctioned running race. Plus, the half marathon serves as the USATF 2015 Half Marathon Championship. This is Wilmington’s premiere participatory event showcasing major attractions including Landfall, Mayfaire Shopping Center, Wrightsville Beach and Historic downtown.

The Marathon Madness Weekend brings thousands of competitors along with their family and friends from Wilmington, the state of North Carolina, and around the country to the Cape Fear region. We are currently seeking Health & Wellness Sponsors that would like to provide complimentary services & consults to the athletes on race day. This is a great way for those in the fi eld of Orthopaedics, Sports Medicine, Chiropractic, and Massage Therapy to market your practice to targeted and potential new customers.
